Narrowing Field

With the exit of Herman Cain the picture for the GOP nomination has become just a little clearer and although it is not the best crop of candidates we've seen, any of the remaining would be better than where we are right now and that leads me to my next thought.  Conservatives, independents and even some democrats have got to settle it in their heart that the "Perfect" candidate is just not out there.

So instead of tearing down our own house we need to pull it together and get behind the candidate that gets nominated, I mean 100% behind and quit griping and complaining about how we wish so and so would have gotten in the race etc...So and so didn't get in, and so we have who we have, time to work together to make sure that whoever gets the nomination, gets our support, gets our votes, and gets to call the White House home...

Veterans Day

I don't think the average American could ever repay the Veterans of our nation.  No amount of "thank yous", no holiday, no song or movie made to honor them will begin to amount to the sacrifice they have made to secure our freedoms.  So instead of "remembering" one day a year, let's start to remember on a daily basis and maybe then, we will begin to act like the great nation that these amazing men and women have sacrificed so much to fight for.

So today, beyond my prayers, and my unending gratitude...I dedicate my version of "God Bless the USA" to every Veteran, thank you for securing the freedom that allows me to sit at my computer on my couch, in my house, watching TV and typing this update to my website... may God bless you and your families
